Hockey Sticks

The hockey stick.  Beautiful in it’s simplicity right?  The one piece of gear that is as basic as they come.  Or it was at least, until the pros started demanding more and manufacturers gladly listened.  Nowadays material that was once reserved for building spaceships are found at any local sports shop.  Unfortunately, just as with spaceships, these sticks aren’t cheap and not always necessary depending on your age and skill level.  So how does one weigh the importance of material, size, blade platter, flex and weight and not become overwhelmed?  Read on, and hopefully we can demystify the whole process and help you make the right decision.
