These composite sticks weigh less and are more flexible than traditional wood sticks. Another advantage is that they will not have the natural differences that the wood sticks have – this means that a batch of composite sticks will likely perform in the same manner. Some NHLers like Paul Stastny wont use composites and swears by the wood sticks instead.
